Since 2006 “CVO Recruitment Latvia” has been cooperating with the “Investment and Development Agency of Latvia” (LIAA) in the field of attraction of foreign investors. During these years “CVO Recruitment Latvia” consultants on labour market issues consulted approx. 26 potential investors, 9 of them launched their business activity in Latvia and established over 1000 workplaces. One of the most vital issues when assessing the most suitable regions for launching and transfer of business activity is related to availability of professionals necessary for companies’ successful development. To make balanced and grounded decision “CVO Recruitment Latvia” consultants make researches in the particular sphere and ensure labour market survey: availability of manpower and its professional qualification, level of labour payment in the relevant field and remuneration of the relevant position, aspects of employer-employee relationships. From 2006 to 2008 predominantly manufacturing and IT companies showed interest in Latvia. From 2010 to 2013 consultations were basically offered to IT companies and global corporations planning to transfer their particular supporting functions – to establish services centres. Most companies entrusted their personnel recruitment and selection activities to “CVO Recruitment Latvia” professional head-hunters’ team. Thanks to these career opportunities more than 300 workplaces for professionals and executives were established. “CVO Recruitment Latvia” recruiting company launched its business in Latvia in 2001. At the beginning it was just a recruitment department acting on behalf of “CVO Group” company under “Professional People” trademark. In September 2007 as a result of reorganization an independent company “CVO Recruitment Latvia” was established. The basic economic activity of “CVO Recruitment Latvia” is to render services on personnel recruiting and selection. The company has representative offices in Lithuania, Estonia, Hungary and Romania. In 2010 a strategic partnership between “CVO Recruitment Latvia” and “Coberon Chronos Group” was founded for the purposes of services rendering on personnel recruiting to the clients all over the world. During the period of its business activity “CVO Recruitment Latvia” company has developed genuine methods of headhunting, selection and assessment of employees of different levels, being active in executive search, upgrading genuine programs on professionals’ involvement. In 2014 “CVO Recruitment Latvia” company forecasts to attract more than 320 employees to the companies of different industries; 180 out of 320 workplaces will be new.
