We are looking for a new enthusiastic colleague to join our growing team in the position of JUNIOR BRIDGE ENGINEER, ESTONIA.

Job summary

The primary responsibilities of the Bridge Engineer will be to serve in a technical role through all project stages and focused on construction phase, including both – tendering and execution. During construction stage Bridge Engineer will be carrying out construction supervision activities and support in design supervision process for different type of engineering structures, such as bridges, noise barriers, retaining walls etc. Bridge Engineer shall ensure that Rail Baltica project implements the most reasonable and cost-effective technical solution from lifecycle perspective.

We will entrust You to

  • Assess, analyse, review and expertise complex structural designs for all technical aspects of railroad projects  
  • Review drawings, specifications, cost estimates, oversee geometric layouts, checking the design calculations, assign work tasks to engineers/ suppliers, oversee the quality of deliverables 
  • To carry out construction supervision activities and support in design supervision process for different type of engineering structures 
  • To work out all construction and maintenance requirements for Rail Baltica bridges together with consultants/ third party suppliers 

To succeed, you should have

  • 3+ years’ experience in structural engineering and/ or design required 
  • Working knowledge of Eurocodes, local technical regulations, standards and construction law 
  • Fluent in Estonian and good command of technical English
  • Technical mindset
  • Ability to work with diverse teams
  • Strong desire to develop as Bridge Engineer
