We are looking for a new enthusiastic colleague to join our growing team in the position of IT Administrator.

Job summary

RB Rail AS is looking for an IT Administrator, who will be responsible for overseeing and maintaining the existing infrastructure with focus on GIS (geographic information system) infrastructure – primary ESRI ArcGIS Enterprise environment and SQL Server (with GIS Enterprise Geodatabases in it). IT Administrator will assist with task automation, resolving infrastructure performance issues, and development of web applications.

We will entrust You to

  • Install, configure, develop, and support the enterprise GIS, software, desktops, mobile applications, and related GIS services.
  • Maintain and develop SQL server architecture and databases.
  • Maintain system monitoring solutions like Zabbix and Esri System Monitor to set up jobs to monitor, alert, and report status of GIS applications/services; troubleshoot and resolve issues identified in system monitoring.
  • System backup and disaster recovery (maintenance and testing).
  • Work together with IT Security experts to improve system security configuration.

To succeed, you should have

  • Solid experience in Windows Server administration.
  • SQL database knowledge is desired.
  • Willingness to learn and acquire new skills.
  • Proficiency with data management and organization.
  • Ability to ask questions to obtain desired results if unclear about the task at hand.

As advantage will be considered

  • Experience working with ArcGIS Enterprise components (Portal, Server, Web Adaptor, Datastore)
  • Knowledge in spatial database creation and maintenance.

Office location

RB Rail AS office in Riga, Tallinn or Vilnius
