Color Expert-Storch is part of The Storch-Ciret Group, family-owned company, based at Wuppertal, Germany, established in 1896, who now is the leader in painting tools market in Europe, employing 1,500 employees in Europe and Asia with total sales of 250 M EUR.

The Latvian subsidiary Color Expert-Storch was established in 2009., employs 19 people, and generates a turnover of a 9,4M EUR with aim to increase it to 15M EUR sales in 2025.
Color Expert-Storch is doing sales in (has a market responsibility for) 13 countries including export outside EU (former USSR countries + Finland). Company sells several brands as well as private label products in 3 main sales channels:
– Professional retail stores,
– DIY and Distribution (DI) (paint and other wholesalers),
– Private Label products to the large KEY accounts.

On behalf of our Client, we are looking for a growth-oriented and energetic:

HEAD OF ACCOUNTING & ADMINISTRATION

Your mission will be:

To lead and organize accounting processes and financial reporting according to Latvian Law, company standards and best industry practices. To participate in budgeting, analysis, cash flow and strategy planning. To consult Management in business analytics and the financial impact of strategic decisions. To lead and organize company’s operations of legal, administrative, HR and IT matters. To collaborate with tax/legal advisors and auditors, banks and IT providers.

You will be leading 2 team members.

Your professional profile:

  • Higher education in Accounting or Finance related field
  • At least 5 years of successful experience as Chief Accountant or Finance Manager
  • Knowledge of Latvian law, accounting and requirements
  • Fluent in Latvian, Russian and English
  • Practical experience in working with ERP systems
  • Proven experience of strategic planning
  • Experience dealing with administrative matters in legal/IT/HR fields will be considered as an advantage
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

  • Remuneration: Starting from €3500.00 bruto (max salary level will be discussed with company representatives individually)
