General Ledger Accountant

You will be entrusted to:

  • Carry out full cycle of accounting
  • Perform VAT declaration, statistical report preparation and submission. VAT registrations in Netherlands, Hungary, Sweden and OSS.
  • Prepare Monthly/Yearly accounting reports
  • Perform reconciliation, checking, booking of salary journal
  • Manage administration of fixed asset
  • Post General Ledger entry calculation

You will be based in Latvia and working in the team of 12 colleagues and will communicate with

Internal partners in finance, purchasing and sales departments

External partners among financial consultants, tax agency and auditors.

This role is meant for You if You have/ are:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finances, Accounting, or similar higher education (can be last year student)
  • At least 2 years’ experience as General Ledger Accountant or Senior Accountant
  • Accounting background
  • Fluent written and verbal communication skills in Latvian and English
  • Able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
  • Able to work independently and with a team in a fast-paced and high-volume environment with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness

Remuneration: starting from €2000.00 bruto
